Happy Wednesday everyone!! It's AnnaMarie with another fabulous pick for our "Wow'd Us Wednesday" feature!! :) For those of you unfamiliar with "Wow'd Us Wednesday", it's a new
feature at Little Red Scrapbook where one of our Design Team members selects a
project from the Little Red Scrapbook Gallery or the Little Red Scrapbook Facebook page and highlights it for all to see! FUN!! :) And you know...we *are* a rather talented bunch over at LRS, don't you think?? :) :)
As soon as I saw this layout by Mary Jo (username Acrobat) in the LRS gallery, I knew I had this week's pick! :) Mary Jo created this layout for the May Sketch Challenge over at LRS, and she did a wonderful job with it! Here is her layout titled "Three of Us":
While staying true to the overall sketch, I love that Mary Jo was able to make it her own by simply altering or changing a few minor elements from the original design - the combination of the two smaller photos into one larger one (and a sweet photo at that! :)), the addition of wonderful journaling into the open space of patterned paper, the creative display of titlework, and the scatter of sweet hearts throughout the layout. Not to mention a lovely example of what one can create with the May kit (and WINK WINK NUDGE NUDGE - if you don't have one yet, there are still some May kits left in the store ...go get yours NOW and come create with us!! :))
Please stop by the LRS Message Board and join me in congratulating Mary Jo on being selected for this week's "Wow'd Us Wednesday" feature! And don't forget to peek at the rest of Mary Jo's gallery for additional inspiration! Congrats Mary Jo! :)

Tammy's May Card Challenge
Hi everyone!! Father's Day falls on June 17th this year so I thought it would be great to get a jump start on the holiday and create a masculine card for that special man in your life.
My challenge for you this week is to create a masculine card using at least one piece of chipboard and a mixture of alphas. Here is my little card using the fabulous May LRS kit, the May add-on Alphas, and the add-on pins and tags! You can find all of these here.
Please upload your card to the LRS gallery and link it back to my challenge thread on the message board so we can all admire your work!!
Hugs,
Tammy

Friday Fun***What do you collect?
Happy Friday everyone!
Being fellow scrappers we all have a love for paper and glue, but this got me to thinking almost every scrapper I know has at least one "collection" in their stash that they seem to have to have.
Maybe yours is all those gorgeous ribbons that are plentiful in the collection kits? Maybe you have an abundance of stamps, clear or wood? Maybe its paper, and you have more containers of it than you will ever know what to do with? Well, I have to admit, my one "collection" is definitely buttons! I love to store them in different size mason jars, with and without lids. I browse flea markets as often as possible and it totally makes my day to be able to find that new cute little vintage jar just overflowing with so many pretty, unique, cute little beauties!
Here is my "little" collection:
Yes, all these jars are filled to the brim....and I still need MORE!
Now I know that you must all have a "collection" and I would love to hear what it is and if there is something special that you display it in. Let's see how many different ones we all have. Can't wait to hear about them all and feel free to share your pictures with us over at LITTLE RED SCRAPBOOK Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a Fun Friday!

Thursday Theme- Quilted Wall Art
Hi Friends! Have you been loving all the inspiration on the blog this month? I know, I have!! I am going to be checking in once a month with something fun from the Theme kit!
If you forgot what the Theme kit is this month, here it is....
This kit is perfect for pictures of your new baby boy (if you have one like me) or even for decorating baby's room. You can make cards, create pages of your bigger boys, too... but back to decorating.... The colors were perfect for our boys room and I found a cute picture, too. I started with a base of cardstock, then added paper squares, sewed my quilted design, added my pictures and some cute embellies and this is what I ended with....
It *may* end up in a frame but I admit I have not found the perfect one, yet. Everything I used except one tiny button is found in the theme kit! It is so packed full, for such a great price!!

Wow'd Us Wednesday!!
Hi everyone...Tammy here. It's Wednesday and you know what that means...it's "Wow'd Us Wednesday" time!! "Wow'd Us Wednesday" is a new feature at Little Red Scrapbook where a member of the Design Team picks a project from either the Little Red Scrapbook gallery or our Facebook page and highlights it for all to see. This sounds like a nice little toot to me, don't ya think?!
I've been watching the gallery for at LRS for a few weeks now and I've found the perfect one! Check out this layout by Jules:
I love that she used Twinkling H2O's to dye cheese cloth for the waves and those popped up umbrellas are brilliant!! Please stop by the message board and congratulate Jules on her "Wow'd Us Wednesday" toot! Congrats Jules!

Karrie's Monthly Challenge
This month's embellishment add-on kit came with a fabulous piece of fabric. Fabric adds a wonderful texture and an unusual element to your projects. My challenge for you this month is to use fabric on your project. One of my favorite fabrics to use on layouts are denim jeans or denim pockets (tuck a cute little journal tag in it). However, for my example, I used the orange fabric included in the May Embellishment Add-on Kit. I love how the orange fabric matched my bicycle theme. I can't wait to see what you do! Be sure to upload your completed projects in the LRS Gallery.

Friday Fun *Color Challenge*
I love pulling inspiration from colors. It might come from the pictures I am working with, something I saw in a magazine or on TV, or from the paper collection I am scrapbooking with. Today I am going to share with you another place I love to get color ideas from... PINTEREST , they have some amazing color palettes people pulled from pictures. I actually have a board on there that is nothing but these kind of pictures. So I thought it would be fun to have a little "COLOR" challenge with one. What's awesome is you can use this months kit "May Little Red Scrapbook kit" with it because all the colors in the picture are also in the kit.
Hope you like this Friday FUN challenge and can pull some inspiration from these colors. If you do, please share it with us in our Little Red Scrapbook Gallery.

Weekly LRS Challenge
Happy Monday all!! :) It's AnnaMarie here with a new Weekly Challenge...and it's a two-parter! :)
Lately I seem to be taking more in-the-moment snapshots with my mobile phone - my phone is ALWAYS on me, and there are times I seem to catch a candid shot that I would have missed entirely if I had to take the time to use and fiddle with the settings on my digital SLR. :-P On that note, I thought it would be fun to tie that in with the challenge for this week. :) So - *first* part of the challenge is to create a layout using photos that you have taken ONLY with your mobile phone.
I also have an affinity :) for using multiple strips of patterned paper on my layouts...I love to showcase the different patterns, especially with double-sided papers (more bang for your buck! :)), such as the super FUN Basic Grey PB&J collection featured in this month's Main Kit. :) *Second* part of this week's challenge is to use 5+ multiple strips of patterned paper.
And here's what I created for this challenge - of course, using the fabulous Main Kit and Embellishment/Ribbon add-ons. :)
So let's get started with the challenge! :) You can upload your layout to the Little Red Scrapbook Challenge Gallery HERE and link back in a comment on this post as well. I hope you find this challenge inspiring and I can't wait to see what you all do with it! :)

Welcome to Card Challenge Wednesday!
Hey Everyone! Welcome to our first Card challenge!
Once a month, we will be making cards over at LITTLE RED SCRAPBOOK . We want to challenge you to use up all that pretty paper and goodies that came with your MAY KIT and the add on's that coordinate with it.
This month there are two things that I would like to see on your card:
1) There needs to be a ribbon that is at least an inch wide.
2) You need to use a border punch or a border sticker.
Here is the card I made to share with you:
Please link your card back over to our gallery to share with us. Everyone needs to have a card or two in their stash and with this monthly challenge you will be sure to have a bunch to fill a box full to give away to all your family and friends when it comes time for that perfect card.
Thank you for playing along and I look forward to seeing what you have made!

3 Product Challenge (Nikki's Challenge)
Hello scrappy Friends. I was going back and forth on awesome challenge ideas I could do for my first Little Red Scrapbook DT challenge post on this blog and came up with some pretty fun ideas, but then remembered a challenge I used to look forward to every week, that was done by a couple of my favorite scrapbookers years ago (2006 I believe) and I remembered how so many scrapbookers loved the challenge and how it pushed us to be more creative with our scrapbook supplies.
So I thought I would give this challenge a try here and see what you thought of it. If it's a hit like it was a few years back, maybe I will make this my new monthly challenge each month, it's up to you and how many people will come join in on it.
So my challenge for you this month is a three (3) product challenge (I have also heard these challenges called a recipe challenge). I will list 3 products you will need to use on a layout. Don't really make layouts because maybe cards are more your thing? That's okay, then use the 3 products on your card.
The 3 items that need to be used for this challenge are...
1. Older patterned paper line/collection
2. Chipboard
3. Buttons
You must use these three items on your creation! I chose "older patterned paper line/collection" because of this post HERE. Which was talking about older scrapbooking paper lines, companies and products we missed and loved that are no longer around.
So lets dip into our supplies (you know all that stuff we hoard ) and get started on this challenge. You can post a link here in the comments of this post with a link back to where you posted your work, (your blog, online gallery, etc) or you can upload it to the Little Red Scrapbook challenge gallery HERE and link back in a comment on this post as well.
And to get you going a little more on this challenge, I will be offering a little "PRIZE" package to one lucky person (picked at random) who posts a link to their finished layout/card (if you are going to make a card, I ask that you make 2 with this challenge to make it more fair to those who are making layouts, Thanks ) in the comments section of this post, plus please post your email address so I can email you and get your info, to get this package out to you if you are the lucky winner. I will pick the winner on May 21st, so you have TWO weeks from today, to get this done.
I will be posting my layout/take on this challenge shortly, so please check back soon. I can't wait to see what you all do with this challenge. If you liked or maybe LOVED this challenge, please leave a comment letting me know, so I can see if this will be a challenge we can continue in the future.
Happy scrapping!
Nikki

Friday Fun!
Welcome to the first installment of a new feature on our blog- Friday Fun!! We will be sharing tips and tricks, product inspiration, photo tips and MORE! In honor of National Scrapbook Day, I thought it might be fun to share my scrap space, after all, it is my happy space, where I go to create...my ScrapLoft!
This loft is the space over my kitchen and overlooking my family room. There are no doors and only three walls so even when I'm working I'm still part of the family "space" which I love (and sometimes don't, lol). On the back wall you can see my Expedit which stores our family albums from years 2004-2012. (The albums from before that date- 1995-2003- are stored in another room.) Below the albums are my papers stored alphabetically left to right by manufacturer. The rows below that hold kits and papers and embellishments by theme. Some of the cubbys are specific to one manufacturer because I may or may not hoard papers from them, lol.
I love all the natural light I get, the window behind my chair is facing East so I get lots of morning sun but it doesn't get too hot in there. Below you can see my desk. It's not often that you can actually "see" my desk, lol. It's usually buried and half the time I 'm scrapping in my lap, but I made it pretty just for you. To the left is my Making Memories Tool Caddy and to the right, behind my Ott Light, is my Tiered Spinner from Harbor Freight. I LOVE that spinner. It holds all my glimmer mists, my glitter glue, inks, glitter, a few of my most frequently used punches. There are a couple little baskets with tags and things and all my twine. I have several drawers under my desk that hold my frequently used supplies like flowers, brads, alphas, pins as well as not so frequently used tools.

In this next picture, you see what I see when I'm sitting at my desk. To the left of the shelves is a vintage post card rack I saved from a trash bin and refurbished. I use it to hold mini books, extra photos and postcards. On the shelves I have displayed some of my favorite mini books, my little TV, my printer and lots of storage for blank mini books, alterables, chipboard, my monthly kits and the kids school stuff.
Now you're looking at the far right corner of my ScrapLoft. I use the top of the shelves for my Epic 6 and dies and some of my favorite wooden stamps and flowers. Underneath you can see my page protectors, some card making supplies and my misting box.
Here's the last look at my space. This is the dresser behind my desk. On top you can see the little spice rack that holds all my buttons in jars, a basket of embellishments, my sewing machine and the baskets behind that hold all my blings. In the drawers, I have extra paints, my Xyron storage, my Bind it All storage, my fabric storage and my punch storage. The dresser drawers work out GREAT to hold all this heavy stuff that I don't use all the time and I love that my sewing machine is all ready to go! You can also see my larger flowers next to the dresser.
I hope you've enjoyed this tour through my ScrapLoft in our first installment of Friday Fun! It's where I'll be creating tomorrow for National Scrapbook Day! I also hope you'll join us here on the blog and in the Forum for our National Scrapbook Day Blog Hop and fun tomorrow!
